A moratorium for the subdivision of property along Wilson Creek was approved unanimously by Caldwell County commissioners yesterday.The ban has a maximum of one year and affects an 8-mile stretch with 1,200 feet on both sides of the creek from Adako Road to the Avery County line. The moratorium will not affect the subdivision of family-owned property.
