Officials overseeing the inauguration ceremony for the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Council of State members have finalized the ceremony’s schedule.

The inauguration ceremony will take place at the steps of the State Library on Saturday, January 10th at 10:30 a.m.

According to a spokesperson for current Lieutenant Governor and Governor-elect Bev. Perdue, The inauguration ceremony will be preceded by a pre-inaugural concert beginning at 10 a.m.

Following the ceremony, the inaugural parade will march down Fayetteville Street toward the State Capitol beginning at 12:30 p.m. and an open house of the Executive Mansion will run from 2:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
