| Watauga County Crimestoppers: Tools Stolen from Two Area Businesses |

Watauga County Crimestoppers is requesting the public’s help in finding the person or people that stole tools from two area businesses.
According to the Crimestoppers report, multiple tools, mostly Klien brand, were stolen from a business located at 7698 Old Highway 421 South in Deep Gap.
That business is located near the Access Road and James Parsons Road turnoffs.
This incident reported occurred sometime between December 9th at 3:00 p.m. and December 16th at 9:00 a.m.
The second incident occurred at Hayes Tire Service on Old Highway 421 South in Boone.
April Gunter of the Boone Police said various items including eight Interstate 12 volt batteries, a large 2.4 ton bottle jack, two Florida Pneumatics air wrenches, a one inch drive wrench, two torque wrenches, two sets of Cooper tires, sockets, security camera and receiver, and a key belonging to a business vehicle were taken.
This incident occurred earlier this week, sometime between 5:15 Monday afternoon and 7:30 Tuesday morning.
