Watauga County Crimestoppers needs the public’s help in finding the person or people who stole a track hoe from an area ski resort.

April Gunter of the Boone Police Department said that on Sunday, December 7th, a 2005 Komatsu Track Hoe was taken from Sugar Mountain.

The Crimestoppers report states the equipment was possibly seen being driven on Highway 105 through Watauga County around 9:15 p.m. or 9:30 p.m. last Sunday by a white truck with a trailer.
