Watauga County Crimestoppers: Saw Thefts Strike County PDF Print

Watauga County Crimestoppers is requesting the public’s help in finding the person or people that stole two saws in two separate incidents.

 

April Gunter of the Boone Police Department reported that someone took a chainsaw from the side of the road on Green Briar Lane in Boone.

 

Gunter said the incident is believed to have occurred sometime between 8:00 and 9:00 on December 6th.

 

The second incident occurred between December 7th around 3:00 p.m. and December 8th before 9:30 a.m.

 

Gunter reported that someone broke into multiple storage units at a business near Heritage Propane around the 5000 block of Hwy 105 South.

 

At this time the only thing thought to be missing is a Miter Saw.
