The blaze at Brandie’s Country Café at the corner of Highway 421 and Highway 194 in Boone caused over $560,000 in damages to the restaurant and the adjoined Pantry.

According to Lieutenant Mike Teague of the Boone Fire Department, the cause of last month’s fire has not yet been determined.  Teague said he does, however, believe the fire was caused unintentionally.

Teague told Aisling Broadcasting that he expects an official report to be filed on the incident soon.
