| ASU Men's Hoops Over Wofford, 82-77 |

The Appalachian State men’s basketball team survived a Wofford second half rally to down the Terriers 82-77 in Spartanburg Saturday evening.
The Mountaineers lead 41-29 at halftime before losing the lead with just over seven minutes left in the game.
The Apps rallied, took the lead at around the two-minute mark and held on for a close win.
The Black and Gold were lead by Donald Sims and Eduardo Burmudez who scored 18 ant 17 points respectively. Sims was also 9-10 at the foul line hitting four free throws in the final 10 seconds of the game.
Sophomore forward, Isaac Butts helped the ASU effort with his fifth double-double of the season, scoring 10 points and adding 13 rebounds.
With the win, the Mountaineers have improved to a 2-0 Southern Conference record and a 4-2 overall record.
The Apps host former SoCon rival, the East Tennessee State Buccaneers on Saturday evening at 7:00 at the Black Hole.
