Paying for college can be tricky not only for high school students but for families as well.

The Caldwell County School system is working to help students and families in their school system learn more about paying for a higher education by sponsoring Financial Aid Night on Thursday evening at 6:30 at the JE Broyhill Civic Center in Lenoir.

Representatives from financial aid offices, the College Foundation of NC, and area colleges will be at the event.

Hibriten High School, South Caldwell High, West Caldwell High, and Caldwell Community College helped organize this event.
