Now’s the perfect time to adopt a kitten. The Watauga County Humane Society is having a Kitty Adopt-a-thon Saturday. For one day only, instead of a $75 adoption fee, a kitten or cat could be yours for just $50, according to Anita Gomez. Watauga's felines are desperate for a good home.
