Last week’s decision by Judge James Downs, that the forced annexation of several areas around the Village of Sugar Mountain was unlawful, left many wondering whether the Village of Sugar Mountain would seek an appeal.
Village manager Lane says he feels that they will but, “Until the June council meeting I can’t say for sure.”
Lane called the decision baffling. The Village Council will make a final decision about filing an appeal at its June 19 regular meeting.
