Critically acclaimed Dog Fancy magazine awarded a Jefferson establishment a “five-paw level of hospitality” in its July issue.

Roger Roberts, who co-owns Dog House Resort with wife Britta, was completely taken by surprise when the magazine called unexpectedly. While the Roberts’ had a background in hospitality, Dog House Resort came about because of their own two dogs. The resort is a pet-friendly bed and breakfast that offers everything from dog-sitting to massage- for pets and people alike. The resort includes pet beds and a fenced in dog park. The only thing the owners have to bring is pet food.
