It’s Community Pride Week through June 2.
This means tipping fees for residential debris will be waived. Residential debris accepted include brush, rocks, cement, metal, furniture, tires and appliances. Debris disposed of this week will not go against the 2,000 pounds allotted already to residents. Community Pride Week is an effort to keep Watauga clean, according to assistant County Manager Deron Geoque. Anyone with questions is encouraged to call 828-265-8000.
