A Lenoir man died yesterday afternoon while attempting to swim across a 100 ft cove on Lake Rhodhiss, according to statements from Caldwell Sheriff’s Office.The drowning victim was 24-year-old Jason Nathaniel Blaine. Blaine’s body was found 30 feet from the shoreline. The incident was referred to as an accident yesterday in reports from Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office.
