A new restaurant is scheduled to open in Jefferson next week.

El Burrito Drive Thru will hold a ribbon cutting on Monday morning at 10:00.

According to Administrative Assistant of the Ashe County Chamber of Commerce, Kathleen George, El Burrito Drive Thru is owned by Sam and Elly Gutierrez.

The Gutierrezes announced they will use all fresh ingredients, make their own salsa, tortillas, sandwiches, and burgers.

El Burrito Drive Thru will be located at 586 South Main Street in Jefferson, beside United Country Dogwood Realty.

High Country residents and especially members of the Ashe County Chamber of Commerce are invited to attend the ribbon cutting on Monday morning.
