Pizza choices in Newland just got a little tastier with the addition of Italian Delight Pizza.

Located on the Shady Lawn property across from the tag office and Newland Police Department, Italian Delight opened its doors on August 12, 2008.  Italian Delight offers Pizzas and Sandwiches at very affordable prices for carry-out and soon hopes to be offering a delivery service in conjunction with a couple of other businesses in the Newland area.

Business has been steady for the first few weeks, and the ownership (who asked to remain nameless stating, “the focus should be on the business, not on me”) has been pleased with the folks who have already started showing their loyalty to the products offered.  Italian Delight is open 7 days a week and offers a menu that covers a wide variety of tastes; from pizza and homemade Italian stuffed bread, to a triple-decker sandwich, to deserts that include cannoli’s and fresh tiramisu.  With ownership that puts the customer first, and food product that pleases the taste buds, Italian Delight hopes to offer the community a great atmosphere and even better food.
