Wednesday, September 17th will mark the 221st anniversary of the drafting of the United States Constitution, and Boone Mayor, Loretta Clawson has honored the event with a special proclamation.

Clawson has named the week of September 17th – September 23rd Constitution Week in honor of this memorable anniversary.

Clawson is asking Boone citizens to remember the ideals our country’s forefathers had in 1787 by vigilantly protecting the freedoms guaranteed to us through the Constitution.
