For just ten dollars, pet-owners can save themselves a lot of heartache.

On May 26 from 1 to 3, Avery County Humane Society is having a microchipping clinic at a cost of $10 per animal.

Information on the chip identifies your pet, should it get lost.

Microchipping is easy, fast, and safe. The Humane Society is located on Stamey Branch Road.
