A bill that would let courts take away the driver’s license of an adult who provides alcohol to minors met the final approval of the House this week.Under current law, such an act is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine and community service. The measure was inspired by four Wakefield High School students who died in a car crash in Raleigh last year. The House approved the measure 106-6.
