The High Country Senior Games are going on- and seniors (55 and older) still have time to register for events by going by the Watauga Parks and Recreation Office.
A week from today is the biggest day of the games- athletic events at the ASU track followed by a 5:30 banquet at Broyhill Inn. Performance pieces by seniors will be part of the celebration. Arts and crafts are currently on display at Appalachian Brian Estates and will be transferred to the Broyhill next week. The Games end June 9.
