Sometime between last Tuesday and Wednesday, police say a 60 lb pit-bull was stolen from Watauga Animal Control.

The nine month old neutered pit-bull is male and brown with a white band around its neck. The dog is micro-chipped and the name will display the Humane Society’s information. Anyone who knows anything about the break-in is encouraged to call Crimestoppers at 828-262-4555.
