The Watauga County Crimestoppers requests your help in identifying the people responsible for the following crimes:

A catalytic converter was taken from a black Toyota pickup truck on the afternoon of Sunday, June 29th between 1:30 P.M. and 4:30 P.M. The truck parked at the Sandy Flats rest area at 1687 US Hwy 221 South in Blowing Rock.

Two rings were stolen from Gems by Gemini Jewelry Store on Main Street in Blowing Rock on Friday, June 27^th.  At approximately 12:42 P.M., two white males entered the jewelry store.  Both suspects engaged the owner about items in one of the display counters.  While the second suspect continued with the owner, the first suspect stepped towards another counter and took two rings from a display.  They were sited at one other business nearby on that date and most likely were in the company of two white females.

The first suspect is a white male who stands about 5’10” tall, weighs 250 to 300 pounds, and is estimated to be 30 to 35 years old.  He has brown hair, with a crew cut, and was wearing khaki shorts, cross trainers, yellow “Polo Sports” t-shirt, and purple sunglasses.
