Watauga County Crimestoppers requests your help in identifying the person or people responsible for four crimes in the area.
Between 7 and 9 PM on Friday, May 30th, an unknown suspect took property from the bed box of a green Dodge Dakota pickup truck. The truck was parked at Brookshire Park on Brookshire Road in Boone. The stolen property added up to $500 including a pair of climbing gaffs, rope, black and yellow plastic toolbox, 1-ton come-along, yellow extra long jumper cables, a toolset, ratchets and tow straps. Sometime between June 8th at 6:00 PM and June 9th at 4:40 PM, a Ford truck that was parked at Highway 421 South and Bynum Trivette Road was broken into. A DeWalt skill saw, a Pioneer CD Player, a diamond plate tool box with hand tools, a 150 Kobalt socket set, a Porter Cable Saw Zaw, a Black and Decker screw gun, and a Black and Decker battery skill saw was taken. A burgundy 2005 VW parked at a residence on Clint Norris Road was damaged between May 23rd at 4:00 AM and June 4th at 7:30 PM. The VolksWagon was scratched down the passenger side rear door and rear quarter panel. Sometime between the afternoon of Friday, May 23rd, and Monday, May 26th, someone took a teal colored 1994 Subaru Legacy 4-door sedan from the parking lot of the former Deep Gap Dollar Mart at the intersection of Highway 421 and Highway 221 in Deep Gap.
