Landowners in Western North Carolina are in for a treat on Friday, June 1.
From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., a workshop entitled “Discover Your Land” will be held at the Watauga County Agricultural Conference Center. Participants will have hands-on opportunities to learn general skills and information useful in managing their land. The cost is $25 per person, with spouse or other family members at $15. Landowners have until May 24 to register by calling Amy Garascia at the Pisgah Ranger Station at 828-877-3350.
