Crimestoppers ask for help: Tool thefts, break-ins |

Sometime between the dates of May 2 and May 5, an unknown subject(s) removed various tool items from a work shed and a dump truck located in a construction area in the 3000 block of Buffalo Road.
Included in the items taken from the construction area were an 1800-Watt Honda Generator, a Husqavarna Chainsaw, various wrenches and a Pioneer radio. On May 2 sometime between 12:00 P.M. and 3:30 P.M. a storm door windowpane was broken out of the residence located in the 300 block of Bluebird Lane.On May 3 at approximately 12:00 P.M. a bullet struck a window frame on a residence located in the 2000 block of Ridge Road.On May 2 an unknown subject wearing blue jeans and a green plaid shirt attempted to enter a residence located in the 12000 block of Highway 421 in the Deep Gap Community.On May 1 an unknown subject removed a Stihl 48-inch chainsaw from the back of a truck that was parked in the 600 block of Wildcat Road in the Deep Gap Community.Sometime between the dates of February 29 and May 3 an unknown subject removed a North Carolina license plate from a vehicle parked in the 1600 block of Broadstone Road in the Valle Crucis Community.On May 2 an unknown subject driving a 1999 Gold Jeep Grand Cherokee struck the driver's door of a 1994 Plymouth Voyager causing damage to the driver's side door of the Plymouth Voyager.On May 1 it was found that the garage at a residence located on Rich Mountain Road was broken into with multiple tools being taken.On April 30, unknown subjects damaged a mailbox located on RJ Aldridge Road.
