Students in the Community Music School program at Appalachian State University will present their spring recital on Sunday.
Strings will perform at 6 p.m. in the Broyhill Music Center’s Recital Hall. Pianists will have a show at the same time in Rosen Concert Hall. The recital showcases the music school, which is a program of the Mariam Cannon Hayes School of music. The program provides non-credit instruction for children and adults. Students, ASU faculty and community musicians teach the classes. Dr. Liz Rose is the program’s director.
