Watauga County Crimestoppers is looking for whoever's responsible for the following crimes:
Sometime between the dates of April 27, 2008 and April 28, 2008 an unknown subject entered a vehicle parked in the 1200 Block of Old US Highway 421 South and removed a box of brake shoes, a bottle of brake fluid and $20.00 in cash. ~~~~~ Sometime between the dates of April 26, 2008 and April 28, 2008 an unknown subject cut the lock on a storage trailer located on Junaluska Road and removed several tools. Included in the tools taken were a Dewalt Random Orbital Sander, tool belts with various hand tools, a tool box with drill bits and wrench sets, a Dewalt Sawzall, three Paslode Framing Guns, a Bostich Joist Hanger Nailer, a Dewalt Chop Saw, a level, two Makita Circular Saws, a Bostich Finish Nailer, a Makita 4 piece lithium ion cordless kit, a Dewalt Circular Saw and various other tools. ~~~~~ Sometime between 4-16-2008 and 4-17-2008 a blue two-seated go-kart was taken from a residence on Cowboy Trail in Deep Gap. ~~~~~ Sometime between 4-17-2008 and 4-18-2008 someone damaged the steering column on a Dodge vehicle parked at a residence located on Tenessias Way. ~~~~~~ On 4-18-2008, two wooden mushroom statues were taken from 4 Seasons Décor in Banner Elk. Page 2 On 4-24-2008 it was found that an out building had been broken into on Trivette’s Drive. ~~~~~ On 4-24-2008 a 55-inch Sony flat screen television and a 32-inch Olevia flat screen television were taken from a residence on Hickory Lane. ~~~~~ On Sunday April 27, 2008 at approximately 8:00 am a resident on Dayspring Road, which is in the area of Big Hill Road in the Meat Camp community, observed two Hispanic males in a small white 1990's model pickup truck with a galvanized commercial style rear bumper with two blue bumper stickers on it in her driveway. The truck was backed in to the victim's driveway and they were rummaging around in a lumber pile. They were possibly stealing building materials. ~~~~~ Sometime between Friday evening 4/25/2008 at 5:00 pm and Saturday evening 4/26/2008 at 7:00 pm someone entered the Carlton Gallery located at 140 Aldridge Road in the Foscoe community and took cash Anyone with information on this crime or any other crime is asked to call Crimestoppers at 828-268-6959.
