The Watauga County Humane Society is sponsoring a microchip clinic on Saturday from 11:30 to noon at Animal Medical Center in Boone. The procedure is simple, permanent and safe. The fee is $25 and you may take your pet home immediately after it is microchipped. The clinics happen every month, so if you miss your opportunity on Saturday, call the Watauga Humane Society at 828-264-7865 for information about the June clinic.
