School’s out for the summer- soon.The last day of school for students in Watauga County Schools will be Tuesday, May 29. The K-8 schools will dismiss at 1 p.m. and Watauga High School will dismiss at 3 p.m. Buses will run usual routes and lunch will be served in all schools. The last day of operation for the after school program will be Monday, May 28.
