The ABC Board has asked the West Jefferson Town Council for the old Centura bank building to be the site for the highly anticipated ABC store.The decision was unanimous and the Council extended a six-month rent-free lease to help the store get started. In early March, voters approved liquor by the drink sales in West Jefferson.
