Both Boone and Blowing Rock have declared this week Be Kind to Animals Week, and the Watauga County Humane Society knows there are many ways to celebrate.
In fact, this Wednesday at 3:30 in the Watauga Library, kids can learn about their pets. Another free mini-seminar about responsible pet ownership will take place Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Blue Ridge Birds and Gardens. Another way to celebrate is by adopting a pet! This week is a great time to visit your local humane society.
