Authorities in Watauga are on the lookout for whoever’s responsible for the following crimes:
Sometime between February 29 and March 5, someone attempted to break into a residence located on the 2700 block of Rich Mountain. In a separate incident between 6:30 p.m. on April 3 and 2:15 p.m. on April 4, a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Highway 321 North was damaged. Police say the driver’s side door of the vehicle was struck with a beer bottle. Damage included a dent and paint issues.
Between 5 p.m. April 2 and 10 a.m. April 4, someone is alleged to have damaged a mailbox and its contents on Phillips Branch Road. Police say someone placed fireworks in the mailbox.
Someone between 10:30 p.m. on April 6 and 9:30 a.m. on April 7, someone is believed to have cut the satellite wires going to two residences on Bluebird Lane.
Sometime between 12 a.m. on April 6 and 10 a.m. on April 7, someone is believed to have damaged a vehicle on Bluebird Lane. Damaged areas included the rearview mirror, rear wiper blade, radio antenna and door lock of the vehicle. The vehicle had also been “keyed.”
Sometime between 8:30 a.m. on April 5 and 10:30 a.m. on April 6, someone spray painted a well house at a residence in the 100 block of Margot Road.
In a separate incident between March 15 and March 26, someone is alleged to have taken several items from a business on Aldridge Road. Among items alleged taken were a 12 by 12 Marion Cloninger Canvas Painting, seven hand-woven wraps, a green beaded necklace and a green leather journal.
