The Boone Service League selected three winners to receive a total of $2,500 in college scholarship money. The League scholarship applications are made available to any high school senior in the High Country who plans on furthering his or her education in a college or university. This year’s winners were Watauga High School’s Anna Romano, Ashe County High School’s Jessica Caudill and home-schooled Rachel Landry.
