ASU's own Melanie Greene has received the 2007 UNC Board of Governor's Excellence in Teaching Award. Part of the Reich College of Education since 1996, Greene began her career as an instructor for the Watauga County School System. She teaches an introductory-level class for all students who are interested in becoming teachers as well as classes for middle grades majors, seniors, and graduate students.
