Boone is about to get a lot less crowded. Today is the last day of exams for Appalachian State University students. With commencements on Saturday and Sunday, traffic should temporarily improve as students go home for summer holidays. Today is also the last day of exams for Lees-McRae College. Lees-McRae’s graduation is Saturday.
