Appalachian State University had two special visitors Friday: N.C. State Senator Joe Sam Queen and Representative Cully Tarleton.
Queen said he found ASU inviting and informative. The lawmakers were impressed with ASU’s efforts towards medical advancement. Of particular interest to Queen was the gerontology research that affects a large demographic of his constituents.
