Lenoir man faces 2 counts child abuse |

A Lenoir man faces two counts of felony child abuse
after allegedly circumcising two of his sons with a utility knife.
32-year-old
John Eric Marlow will be charged once he completes his 150-day sentence at the
Gaston County Jail for assault on a female and eleven counts of contributing to
the delinquency of a minor. Deputies say the delinquency charges stem from
Marlowe leaving eleven children by themselves for 24 hours. Marlow is believed
to have delivered two of his sons, circumcising them when they were eight days
old. The investigation into the child abuse is ongoing and more charges are
possible.
