Also in the General Assembly, a bill that would make it a misdemeanor to leave a child 8-years-old or younger unattended in a vehicle while the engine is running or other dangerous conditions exist met the approval of the House, Children, Youth, and Family Commission Wednesday. The bill’s next stop is a judiciary committee.
