 27-year-old Denise Andrews of Newland is in
trouble again.
Newland police chief Jason Brown says Andrews has been using
James Baldwin’s credit card. While she admitted to using the card at the
Newland CVS Pharmacy, police suspect other charges on the card can also be
attributed to Andrews. She has been charged with one count of obtaining
property by false pretenses. More charges may be pending. Last year Andrews was
accused of using checks that belonged to Baldwin. According to Brown the
suspect and victim are related. Andrews was held on a $2,000 bond.
