OASIS (Opposing Abuse with Service, Information, and Shelter) will hold its fifth annual Midnight at the OASIS celebration at the Green Park Inn in Blowing Rock tomorrow from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Proceeds benefit the shelter, outreach, and education programs. The evening will feature a silent auction, live music by The Swingin’ Richards, and food provided by Gadabouts Catering. According to Jennifer Herman, OASIS director, the event is OASIS’ biggest fundraiser. “The funds raised at this event are a major part of our yearly funding, allowing us to continue providing education and services in our community,” Herman said. Previous years events have sold out, so get your tickets early by calling OASIS at 264-1532. Tickets are $50 each, and $35 of the purchase price is tax-deductible.
