Breitenstein commits to ASU rival PDF Print
Monday, 07 January 2008 07:29
Watauga High School senior Eric Breitenstein has orally committed to play football at Wofford College.

Breitenstein ran for 2,445 yards and scored 29 touchdowns during his senior year. He was also named first team all-state by the Associated Press and was selected to play in the Shrine Bowl. He was Watauga's first Shrine Bowl selection in 28 years.

Wofford was 11-2 this past year and lost to Richmond in the second round of the FCS playoffs. Wofford College is a Division One School in the Southern Conference and ASU's biggest rival. Wofford will play at ASU next fall.

Britenstein will officially sign with Wofford in early February.
