Unemployment is holding at a 12 month low in North Carolina. The state Employment Security Commission reports the March jobless rate at 4.5 percent.
That's unchanged from the previous month.North Carolina's employment has enjoyed a very robust growth over the past year. Over the last year employment in the state has grown by 102,081.North Carolina is not keeping up with the national unemployment rate. The national rate improved to 4.4 percent in March.
