Lenoir-Rhyne's Kevin Baxter lowered his own school record in the men's 110-meter hurdles Sunday afternoon in the 2013 Aggie Last Chance Meet hosted by North Carolina A&T State at Aggie Stadium. Baxter, a redshirt freshman from Columbia, S.C., placed third overall in the event with a school-record time of 14.05 seconds.
In addition, L-R senior Artis Gilmore (Asheville, N.C.) placed sixth in men's triple jump (47'10.5"). Both Baxter and Gilmore have qualified as provisionals to the 2013 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field National Championships which take place on May 23-25 in Pueblo, Colo., at Neta & Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl.
