Lenoir-Rhyne (37-15) and Anderson (39-13), both members of the South Atlantic Conference, will square off in the 2013 NCAA Division II Softball Southeast Regional Championship Sunday at Bears Field beginning at Noon. Lenoir-Rhyne, the second seed in the tournament and the 12th-ranked team in NCAA Division II, must beat sixth-seeded Anderson twice on Sunday to punch a ticket to the Super Regionals
Game Five - Lenoir-Rhyne 4, Georgia College 3
The Bears rallied from a 3-1 deficit to avenge a loss to the Bobcats a day earlier and advanced to the regional championship game against the Trojans. The contest was delayed three hours because of severe weather.
L-R junior third baseman Haily Jarman (Wadesboro, N.C.) connected on a two-run single in the fifth inning to tie the contest at three before junior outfielder Brittany Coursen (Virginia Beach, Va.) scored on a wild pitch in the sixth frame to lift the Bears to the win.
Georgia College (37-17), which beat Lenoir-Rhyne by a 10-1 score in the opening round on Friday, was led by Kristen Humphries (Columbus, Ga.) and Whitney Okvist (Kennesaw, Ga.) with two hits and an RBI each in the setback. Lenoir-Rhyne freshman Maryann Hoskins (Havelock, N.C.) improved to 17-7 on the year after coming on in relief to earn the win while Georgia College's Dani Gallucci (Orlando, Fla.) (16-8) took the loss.
Game Four - Lenoir-Rhyne 4, North Georgia 2

The Bears took control early with a pair of runs in each of the first two innings to stay alive in the regional tournament. Two-run doubles by senior outfielder Megan Laxton (Taylorsville, N.C.) and freshman catcher Lauren Elder (Taylorsville, N.C.) staked the Bears to the 4-0 advantage.
L-R freshman Brandi Hole (Sandy Ridge, N.C.) earned the win and improved to 19-8 while North Georgia's Courtney Poole (Watkinsville, Ga.) (22-8) suffered the loss. The Saints' Katherine Martin (Atlanta, Ga.) hit a two-run home run, her second in as many games in the tournament, to provide the lone offense on the day for third-seeded North Georgia (36-14).
Game Three - Anderson 7, Georgia College 5
The Trojans scored the first six runs of the contest and held on in the end to advance to the championship game on Sunday at Noon. Anderson's Danielle Swygert (Sharpsburg, Ga.) finished with two hits and three RBI and keyed a four-run second inning with a two-run single.
The seventh-seeded Bobcats cut the lead in half with three runs in their half of the second inning capped off by a run-scoring single from Kristen Brooks (Brunswick, Ga.). The score remained 6-3 until pinch hitter Samantha Young (Canton, Ga.) came through with an RBI triple in the top of the seventh inning for Anderson.
Georgia College tried to rally with a pair of runs in the bottom of the frame but left two runners on base when the contest ended. For Anderson, Laura Jansky (Kennesaw, Ga.) also drove in a pair of runs while Lauren Bell (Woodstock, Ga.) improved to 22-6 on the year after earning her second win in as many days. Gallucci suffered the loss for the Bobcats.
