Huskies Down Pioneers In Girl's Lacrosse PDF Print

The Watauga High girl's lacrosse team suffered a 17-7 loss on Saturday against Cornelius-Hough in a District 7 game at Leigh Wallace Memorial Field.

Taelor Critcher paced WHS with three goals in the loss. WHS (2-5) trailed 7-5 at halftime, but the Huskies broke the game open with ten second-half goals. Katie Marks had two goals and an assist for the Pioneers. Goalkeeper Keirsten Henson had 12 saves.
WHS travels to Huntersville-Hopewell on Monday for a 5 p.m. game.
