Watauga High Athletic Director Tom Wright has announced that tonight's baseball game between the Pioneers and Alexander Central will be played at

Smith Stadium/Beaver Field on the campus of Appalachian State University due to poor field conditions at Pioneer Field.
Right hander Hunter Isaacs will make his second varsity start of the year for the Pioneers. Isaacs tossed three scoreless innings in his debut Saturday against Providence. He scattered two hits and struck out two. Coverage begins at 6 p.m., on Classic Hits 100.7 FM.
WHS coach Pete Hardee has also announced that the Pioneers will play a make up game at North Davidson next Wednesday, April 24. That game was originally scheduled for March 6, but was rained out.
And Tom Wright has also announced that the boy's lacrosse match between WHS and Cornelius-Hough scheduled for Saturday has been postponed because the Huskies can't make the trip to Boone.
