Watauga High Athletic Director Tom Wright has announced that Saturday's varsity baseball double header between the Pioneers and Providence has been

moved to Smith Stadium/Beaver Field at Appalachian State University due to poor field conditions at Pioneer Field. The first game begins at 1:00 p.m. Coverage begins at 12:30 p.m., on Classic Hits 100.7 FM.

WHS coach Pete Hardee has announced that Hunter Isaacs will make his varsity debut on the mound in game one; Jesse Illich will make his pitching debut with a start in game two.

 

WHS SOFTBALL SCHEDULE CHANGES

 

Watauga High Athletic Director Tom Wright has announced that the softball team will play Happy Valley, TN., in a varsity-JV double header at home next Wednesday; the Pioneers will play their make up game with Fred T. Foard on Wednesday, April 24.

The softball team takes on Alexander Central at home Tuesday night.
