L-R Men Tied For Fifth At Hargett Memorial PDF Print

The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Golf Team shot a 317 (+29) after the first day Monday of the J. Ralph Hargett Memorial Intercollegiate at the Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation and is currently tied for fifth place.
Walters State Community College is first after the first round of play with a 305 (+17) on the par-72, 6,936-yard course. Bluefield State's Chandler Beavers is the leader after 18 holes with a 73 (+1) while junior John White (Dudley Shoals, N.C.) is the top Bears' golfer so far.
White is tied for second overall after shooting a 74 (+2) on Monday. Meanwhile, junior Brandon Squier (Advance, N.C.) is tied for 20th with a 79 (+7) and sophomore Zach Burket (Taylorsville, N.C.) carded an 81 (+9) and sits in 36th-place overall for L-R as well.
The second and final round of the tournament takes place on Tuesday.
