The West Chester Women's Lacrosse Team (3-0), ranked No. 2 in NCAA Division II, defeated Lenoir-Rhyne (3-4), 20-8, Tuesday afternoon at Moretz Stadium.
The Golden Rams' Tori Dugan (West Chester, Pa.) and Nicole Pyle (West Chester, Pa.) each scored four times as West Chester remained unbeaten on the season. The Golden Rams raced to a 10-1 advantage and led at halftime by a 13-4 score.
West Chester, who lost in the national championship match last season, put an end to any hopes of a Lenoir-Rhyne comeback with six consecutive goals to start the second half.
Dugan also assisted on two scores while the Golden Rams' Jess Henderson (West Chester, Pa.) earned the win in goal after tallying five saves in the contest.
L-R sophomore goalkeeper Allison Senft (Marietta, Ga.) suffered the setback despite stopping five shots on the afternoon.
