Last Friday, narcotics detectives from the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office located and seized a methamphetamine laboratory at the residence of 9593 US Hwy 421 in Zionville.  Jody Shon Danner, 41, said to be a person of interest in an investigation involving the manufacturing and distribution of methamphetamine, was charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Precursor Chemicals, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Danner was arrested and jailed at the Watauga County Detention Facility and is being held under a $100,000 secured bond.  Danner is scheduled to appear in court on April 26th.
