Friday evening at 8:55 pm Caldwell County Sheriff Deputies responded to the intersection of Duck Creek Road and HT Road for shots being fired.  Alexander County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from victims stating that they were shot at in Caldwell County and one person in the car had been shot. Arriving Caldwell investigators took statements from local residents telling much the same.  Justin Matthew Wilson of 6603 Duck Creek Road, Lenoir was arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury and Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Vehicle.  He is currently being held at the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $150,000 secured bond. The motive in this case is still being investigated.  The victim was treated and released from Frye Regional Medical Center.
